T. Town Hall
2 East Main Street 1879 Italianate style
This is Wilmington’s fourth building dedicated to town business. the first two were located on the old town common. when the town relocated to Mill Hollow in 1833, it used money from the sale of the second meetinghouse to purchase land and build the third one at this location. Being of poor construction, it was demolished in 1879 to make way for the building that today contains offices and a meeting room.
